I hereby write this letter as an explanation letter to my current financial situation that has resulted in me circumstances were affecting performance in order to pass my numeracy exams.
My Dad passed away few years ago so I live with my mother who was admitted to intensive care due to Covid 19 for and stayed in ICU for few months and I was living in a fear thought I will never see her again and that really effected my performance in every expect of my life. When she got discharged from the hospital and admitted going home, she has few complications about her health, I am the only child in my family, and I was very afraid to not losing my mother which resulted me not focus on the exam preparation. I was her main career helping her with everything including personal care. So now she is doing very well and getting everything done by herself and no longer needed my help.
I humbly request that if the university can help me and give me another chance to retake my exam, as I am willing to pass it, please.
