The Having Mode is the mode of living where we are focused on acquiring possessions and accumulating status symbols. The Being Mode is the mode of living where we are in tune with our own inner power and connected to nature.
Both modes have their strengths and weaknesses, but when we live in the having mode, our focus tends to be externalized – on what we can get or how much money we have. This often leads to stress, anxiety, and a sense of emptiness. On the other hand, when we live in the being mode, our focus tends to be internalized – on ourselves as creators or healers rather than just consumers. This can lead to greater happiness and fulfillment because it allows us to connect more deeply with who we are.
