What kinds of mental health providers in your state can offer their clients privileged communication? What are the exceptions to this privilege? Under what circumstances are you legally required to breach confidentiality? What would you do to educate your clients about the purposes of confidentiality and the legal restrictions on it? How would you do this in different counseling scenarios such as school counseling, groups, marriage and family, counseling minors, etc.?
