2. MEDIA ASSIGNMENT
Choose a piece of media containing Black Canadian content. This could be a piece of media created by a Black Canadian (song, poem, film, tv show, art exhibition, etc.), or a piece of media addressing/representing an issue in Black Canada (i.e. news coverage). Analyze the piece, thinking about what the piece represents/critiques/analyzes about Black Canada: some questions to think about may be what the theme is of the piece, your interpretation of its meaning, the way Black Canadians or an issue in Black Canada are represented.
