read chapters I-XI aka 1-12 and write 500 words about Merlyn’s approach to the
education of young Arthur (aka, “Wart”). Analyze between 3-5 methods
Merlyn employs as he teaches Wart a particular lesson. Be sure to note
the particular skill Merlyn’s lesson focuses on, what Wart learned from this lesson, and how this lesson taught Wart the importance of thinking critically as a leader/king.
Your response should be in the form of an argumentative essay driven by a clear, focused thesis statement, and consisting of body paragraphs, each of which focuses on one main idea. Also, each paragraph should contain at least one piece of evidence from the text to back up any claims and
move your thesis statement forward.
