Three sources – One source will be your textbook and you will need to find two additional sources. NO Wikipedia. Also, make sure your sources are not coming from opinion sites such as a blog or personal website. Look for authentic sources by expert authors.
Introduction paragraph, Body 3-5 paragraphs, Conclusion paragraph – Your intro should tell me what three topics you’re going to discuss, the body of your essay should describe your topics and draw connections to the development of American music of today. This is where you will want to collect information from outside sources to support your choices and connections. The conclusion should wrap up your final thoughts and wrap-up the essay.
3-5 pages – this essay will be a little longer just because you’ll be dealing with more information. The minimum is 3 full pages NOT including your references which should be on their own page at the end of your essay. As in the previous assignments, the paper should be double-spaced, typed – 11/12 pt font, with heading and creative title. You do not need to create an APA cover page
